Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing, which is a subset of alternative medicine.
Introduction into Reiki. This class is open to anyone with an open mind and willingness to learn more about energy healing. Learn the 5 reiki principles, and how to incorporate them into your life. The goal of this class is to prepare students for Reiki Level 1.

Level 1 is a practitioner's initiation into reiki and is open to anyone. The focus during Level 1 is on opening the energy channels on a physical level, allowing the practitioner to connect to the universal life force energy.

Level 2 is known as the practitioner level meaning that you are equipped and qualified to apply the Reiki energy and techniques to people as clients, if you so choose. You learn how to send Reiki to a person at a distance and you will be given extra symbols to empower it.
